It's gorgeous! You're right it is perfect for a "dramatic" entry, and I think the black and white is a wonderful finish for it.
PS You need to change your comment moderation to a pop out. I think there are a few people who might be having a hard time leaving a comment, it isn't working properly, hit tab twice and it will take you to the place where you have to type in your word verification.
